When photographing families, I love to keep things light & easy so you all feel relaxed and enjoy your family time together. I will guide you through the whole thing so you don't have to worry about knowing how to pose. I focus on the natural connections you share with your family but always include some great, natural looking posed shots that you will love to have on your wall.
After your session, I don't leave you to work out what to do with your images, on your own. I am an expert at album design and sorting out photos for print. So I am here to help if you want to invest in and album, a large wall collage or just a few prints for your desktop.

I love a walk on the beach in any weather and we're so lucky that we are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches in Northland.
My happy place for relaxing is the beautiful Taupo Bay in the Far North. We have been holidaying there as a family for over 40 years! I took these dolphin photos there a couple of years ago when they paid us a visit. My teens still talk about how magical this experience was.

I love music and musical theatre and have had the pleasure of photographing both Opera North & Whangarei Theatre Company (WTC) productions for over 10 years as our daughters have both done classical singing training from when they were little.
The annual Classics in the Cove and Opera in the Garden events, and the WTC production of Phantom of the Opera are all on my all time favourites list.

I love getting outside to explore the walking and cycling tracks we have around the north.
Although I am not too keen on the the mountain biking tracks - I prefer to stay on the flats!!

My husband and I met on our OE in a London Pub watching the All Blacks. So it's fair to say travelling has always played a big part in our lives.
Slightly harder to gallivant around the world once kids came along and obviously Covid also made a big dent in travel plans too. Like lots of Kiwis though, we took the opportunity when we could to get out and about around our own beautiful country.
