A NOTE ON AGES:
Babies need to be at least 3 months old for these sessions.
If you‘re planning on booking your baby in just once, the best age for it is about 8-9 months old.
I don't recommend these sessions for toddlers between 13-24 months old. They are super quick and don't allow time for nervous or shy littlies to warm up. I don't guarantee success for this age range.
They are perfect for 4 years and up to capture the magic of this age before they go to school.

Beautiful Sage is just at that delicious stage where she sits confidently most of the time and those gorgeous hazel eyes are full of wonder at the world around her. She's exploring everything and of course everything goes in her mouth! She's ready to crawl almost any day now and then Mum and Dad will be in trouble. Sage's Mum bought along some favourite outfits including a gorgeous cream cardigan knitted for her by Nana.

ALMOST READY FOR SCHOOL
Isa is a little girl on a mission! At 4years she never sits still and her Mum said to me after their session that she couldn't believe the gorgeous photos we got given the whirlwind of energy that her daughter is.
Despite the beautiful wooden toys we had for her to play with, it was a box of shells that kept her entertained sorting and organising the longest. Maybe Mum and Dad have an Engineer or Accountant in the making!

Marli's Mum dropped the big kids off at School and Kindy before popping in for a special Milestone Moments session with her baby.
We had such fun photographing him in a few favourite outfits and with his special little cuddly blanket. He loves the jolly jumper and is almost ready to crawl as well.

I will usually try and give you a quick call to discuss what your vision is for your session and let you know how my process works. If the extra guidance I provide for planning and printing sounds of interest, I will send over a full Session Info and Price Guide. It has all the details of the pricing and packages I have available.
1. Say Hello
Once you have decide you would like to go ahead and book in your session, let me know via email and we'll get things moving. We'll get a date confirmed and then I will invoice you for your Session Fee.Once that's paid, I will be in touch to book in your Zoom Planning Call.
This is a quick 30 min session to answer any questions you have and chat about what you are all going to wear and wear we are going to photograph you all. We'll talk about what you would like to do with your images once we have captured them and make a plan around which package suits you best.
For busy Mums, I have found this quick consult saves heaps of time for you to get the family ready. It means you can ask all your questions at once and we can get wardrobe sorted for everyone too!
2. let's plan your session
3. TEN DAYS prior to your session
You’ll receive an invoice for the package that you have chosen. This is due for payment before your session. (You are welcome to upgrade your package after you have seen your Proof Gallery of images).
I will be in touch to remind you of your session time, location and what to bring.
And I can help via text if you need any advice on outfits.
I will contact you on the morning of the shoot via text just to check in and we can make sure everything is good to go with the weather. (Because you know what Northland weather is like!)
Then it's time to have some fun and enjoy a relaxed hour on the beach with your family. I will guide you through the whole session so there's no need to worry about how to pose or getting the kids to look at the camera - that's all on me!
4. PHOTO SHOOT TIME
I will give your images a light edit and prepare a Proof Gallery for you to review.
I'll then be in touch to schedule your Ordering & Design session at my home studio where we'll go through your images and choose the ones you want as part of your package.
5. YOUR PROOF GALLERY
At this session we'll go through your images on my big computer screen. I have great filtering tools to help us compare images and make it super simple for you to choose the ones you love the most for your package.
I have sample frames, albums & photobooks for you to look at if would prefer I take the hassle of printing off your hands.
I will then polish up the images you have chosen, including any photoshop tweaks you have asked for.
Digital products are delivered via an online gallery for you to download. Print products usually take 4 - 5 weeks from the time we get the order in to arrive.
6. your ordering & design session
This is when you get to hold the beauty of your family in your hands.
Incredible professional photos and products for you to treasure forever.
7. DELIVERY TIME

Our milestone moments shoot with Tracey was so much fun and I know I’ll be so grateful to look back on these in future (especially since the weeks and months seem to fly by in the blink of an eye!).
Tracey managed to capture so much personality in the photos, and provided a great variety of shots in the different spaces in her studio too. The session was quick and easy to fit around our schedule, and the relaxed environment made for a really enjoyable experience.
I love that I now have a beautiful collection of our journey from pregnancy, early newborn days and now fast-growing baby!

I think my favourite part of your photographing is that you take them so organically, not to much posing just roll with how Marli was and that was the best.
It can be hard taking the right pictures of a bubba and being quick really helped the processes! I loved being able to jump in there as well to get a couple of sneaky pictures too!
They are more than I expected! I loved that you let me choose his outfits and i think that’s the special part about it.
You will forever be our family photographer Tracey! Every angle, lighting, pose or not pose was perfect.
And thanks for keeping the room warm inbetween changes!
